ABOUT US
Steve Allen
An apostolic leader called
to teach God's word and equip disciples.
Prior to their marriage in 2003, Steve founded nondenominational multi-ethnic churches in Illinois and Florida. He also founded The World Training Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to train and equip emerging leaders and the Southern Illinois Jail & Prison Fellowship to train and lead volunteers in prison ministry. In 1998, Steve founded a truck stop ministry called The Chapel, The Tree By The Road, where he led and trained volunteers to deliver daily encouragement and spiritual support for travelers and professional drivers. Steve has a passion for mining the depths of God’s word and teaching Biblical truths. He is grateful for the training and mentoring he received from many exceptional ministers in the Southern Illinois region including the Carbondale, Illinois Vineyard church. He also was mentored by leaders at the Solid Rock and Eagle’s Nest churches in Texas.

Varvah was first introduced to Christ through her grandmother, Reverend Ina Russell, who served with Aimee Semple McPherson. Rev. Russell co-pastored a church that was given to her by Sister Aimee in Venice Beach, California. And like her grandmother, Varvah is known for releasing God’s love through healing, deliverance, and prophecy. Throughout her more than 25 years in Christian ministry, Varvah has founded and led prayer and prophetic intercessory groups ministering to lay leaders and professional ministers. She’s also served as a personal minister and life coach to leaders across diverse industries throughout the country. As a speaker, Varvah shares her story of surviving personal abuse and emerging with a passion to see people live in Christ’s true freedom. She is grateful for the profound influence of ministers like Harald Bredesen, founder of The Prince of Peace Foundation and Agnes Numer, founder of Sommer Haven Ministries, in California.

At Hearts of Fire International, our singular purpose is to see lives changed by the power of God’s unconditional love. As ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ, our ministry is centered on worship, prayer, inner healing and life coaching. We also focus on leadership training and in-depth teaching of God’s word. We minister God’s healing to the spirit, soul, and body.

As you progress in your own journey of healing, you will also discover how much you have to share with others, and you will become a channel of God's love, experiencing even greater healing. One thing we have learned: while there are many things that can help and aid in healing, ultimately it is love that heals! Of course it does! The Bible says, "God is love." God wants to extend to you this reservoir of His amazing healing love.
We focus on releasing God's healing. Too often we find people ignore or suppress their need to heal the heart, which can lead to physical illnesses that manifest as symptoms of underlying spiritual infirmities of the soul and spirit. If the heart is not alive with love and zest for God and for people, we can become consumed by life’s hurts, fears, and regrets. And our inward hurts can affect our behaviors toward other people, especially those we love.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in the Apostles’ Creed.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, and trustworthy and without error the Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
We believe Jesus Christ is God, in his virgin birth, In his sinless life, in his miracles, in his death that paid for our sin through his shed blood, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension/rising up to the right hand of the Father and his personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1; Matthew 1:18-25; Hebrew 4:15; Hebrews 9:15-22; 1Corinthians 15:1-8; Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 9:27-28)
We believe that acceptance of Jesus Christ and the corresponding renewal of the Holy Spirit are the only paths to salvation for all men and women .(John 3:16; John 5:25; Titus 3:3-7)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the gifts and impartations thereof. (John 14:15-26; John 16:5-16; Ephesians 1:13-14)
